Is this affiliated with Pokemon Cafe?
No. CafeSnap is an independent reservation service. We are not affiliated with The Pokemon Company, Nintendo, or Pokemon Cafe. The cafe's own booking site is free. You're paying us to do the booking on your behalf because slots sell out in seconds.
What happens if you can't get the booking?
Full automatic refund. We issue it the day after the last of your preferred dates passes without us booking it. You don't have to ask or chase us. It hits your bank in 5 to 10 business days depending on your card.
Is this legal?
Yes. We book on your behalf using the name you give us, the same way a hotel concierge or travel agent would. The reservation is in your name. We send you a confirmation with everything you need to walk in and be seated.
What if the cafe cancels my booking after we get it?
If the cafe cancels for its own reasons (closure, renovation, an issue on their side), that sits with their own refund policy. Our fee covers securing the reservation, not the cafe's own decisions afterwards. Cases like this are very rare and we'll always help you contact the cafe.
Do you charge per person?
No. One flat fee covers your whole party (1-6 guests at both cafes). A family of 4 pays the same as a solo visitor. No per-person upcharge, no service fee added at checkout.
Can I cancel?
Yes, until 10pm JST the night before your reservation date, which is the cafe's own cancellation deadline. Cancel from the "Check booking" page any time. A small processing fee applies (10%, minimum £1.50) to cover Stripe's costs. If we've already secured your reservation at the cafe, we cancel it there on your behalf too.
Why is your fee higher than some other services?
You can see exactly who we are, contact us on Telegram, and read our refund terms before paying. If we don't get your booking, you get a full refund automatically. No hidden per-person charges or surprise fees at checkout. Cheaper services tend to be anonymous listings with no refund guarantee. We'd rather charge a fair flat fee and stand behind it.
How does the bot work?
Two ways. First, an automated wave at 6pm JST every day, when the cafe releases slots exactly 31 days ahead. We're submitting the moment they drop, faster than a human can click. Second, a continuous scanner that watches for cancellations all day and grabs them the instant they appear. Most bookings happen in the first wave, but cancellation pickup keeps trying right up to your date.
Why do you need my email?
So we can send you your booking confirmation, including the date, time, and guest name to show at the door. We handle everything with the cafe on our side. You just turn up.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payment goes through Stripe Checkout, the same system used by millions of online businesses. We never see, store, or touch your card details. Stripe is fully PCI compliant. You can also pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link if your browser supports them.
Can I select multiple dates?
Yes. You can pick up to 3 preferred dates. We try all of them and book whichever opens up first. More dates means better chances. One flat fee covers the lot.
What are the zone letters (A/B/C)?
The cafe has 3 seating areas. A and B are table seats for 2-6 guests. C is counter and table seats for 1-6 guests. Different zones have different available times. If you don't mind, leave it on "any" for the best odds.
